Virginia (Jeannie) Estrada Weltens, 78, of Pipe Creek, Texas, was called home to heaven on Friday, May 30, 2025 surrounded by her family in prayer. Jeannie was born on February 7, 1947, in San Antonio, Texas, to Louis H Estrada and Ramona Gonzalez Estrada.

She married Max L. Weltens Sr. on October 3, 1970, in San Antonio, Texas. Jeannie worked at Lackland Airforce base until she and Max started a family. Jeannie stayed home to raise her 5 children. Jeannie was a woman of deep Catholic faith. She was a member of St Stanislaus Catholic Church and was very involved in her church throughout her life. Jeannie loved to quilt. She handmade a quilt for all her loved ones, each stitch a symbol of her love. She loved the beach and all of the family cruises.

She leaves behind daughters, Deborah Zinsmeister and husband Ron of Boerne and Maureen Weltens Guinn and husband Brad of Elgin; daughter in law Krishna Weltens of Bandera; Sons, Brian Weltens and wife Melani of Boerne and Mark Weltens of San Antonio; sister, Bernie Almaraz of Grapevine; brother, Jerry Estrada of Houston; Grandchildren; Shelby, Ethan (Clare) Isaac (Caralyn), Emery (Paul), Emma (Ethan), Kyle (Nikki), Aidan (Julianna), Jack, Sam, CeCe, Anisa, Andre, Max, and Declan; Great Grandchildren Gemma, Chiara, Isla, and Louis, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and sisters-in-law.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her loving husband Max Louis Weltens Sr; Son Max Louis Weltens Jr; Parents Louis and Ramona; brothers Arthur Estrada, Homer Estrada, Rev. Domingo Estrada O.M.I., sister Wanda Siefert; and brother in law Jim Siefert.

Visitation will be at 5:00 pm on Tuesday June 10, 2025 at Bandera Funeral Chapels in Bandera. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, with Rev. Msgr. Frank Kurzaj. Interment to follow at the New Catholic Cemetery in Bandera, Texas.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Bandera Funeral Chapel.
