Wayne Comanse

Wayne E. Comanse, 76, of Pipe Creek, passed away on March 29, 2022, in Pipe Creek. He was born in East Chicago, Indiana to Eli and Thelda Comanse on November 15, 1945. He married Carol Comanse on March 31, 1979, in Hobart, Indiana.

He worked as a Master Electrician for Winter's Electric. He was a Vietnam veteran and served in the Navy from November 18, 1963, to November 13, 1967.

Wayne is preceded in death by parents Eli and Thelda Comanse, brothers Harold, Robert, Glen, and Roland, sisters Peggy, Bette Mize, Margaret Casper, Delores Sipple and son Aaron.

Wayne is survived by his wife Carol Comanse, children Wayne (Brooke), Samantha, Tina Dutcher, and Lisa and sister Thelda Lashley. He had 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and brothers in law Carl Rompel and Paul Rompel.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on April 9, 2022, at Riding the River Cowboy Church with Craig Carter officiating.
